A very civilized Momma Day...
Those fake children peeping out the window still freak me out.
Anyhoo, the record of past Momma Day weather and the current weather forecast pretty much said we'd be fools to try tenting this week.

First Stop: Morro Bay
Our first night out was at a nice little RV resort that was steps from the beach. Morro Rock is in the background and the storm actually held off the whole time we were there.
This was Morro Dunes RV Resort just north of Pismo Beach.

Stop 2: Big Sur
The Central Coast has dramatic cliffs, historic structures and redwood forests. We saw some of this on our way up but mostly we saw a lot of fog and rain.
Greg handled the boat like pro on the switchbacks and only hit the rumble strips once every hour. We discovered that Fruity did not approve of rumble strips.

The weather cleared up enough to get some nice shots in Monterey. After that we spent the last night in Buelton before heading home.
